ST 41 / SS400 / AISI 1018 Material Properties
ST 41 steel material is a low carbon steel with a carbon content of 0.13% -0.18% and characterized by a minimum yield strength of 185 - 265 MPa and good weldability. ST41 offers a good balance of hardness, strength and elasticity. With higher mechanical characteristics, hot rolled ST41 steel also has improved machining characteristics and Brinell hardness. ST 41 steel is commonly used as industrial machine component.

S45C / AISI 1045 Material Properties
JIS S45C grade carbon steel is widely used in machinery manufacturing because of good mechanical properties and excel in weldability and machinability. S45C is considered as a medium carbon steel, with poor hardened performance. Although S45C can be subjected to varous heat treatments, S45C steel can be hardened to only HRC42 ~ 46. Surface hardness can be achieved by carburizing. JIS S45c steel are mainly used for a variety of motor shaft, automotive parts.

SCM 440 / AISI 4140 / VCL 140 Material Properties
AISI 4140 is a chromium-molybdenum steel alloy. The chromium content provides good hardness for penetration, and the molybdenum content ensures uniform hardness and high strength. AISI 4140 chrome-molybdenum steel can be oil hardened to relatively high hardness levels. Desirable characteristics of AISI 4140 are superior toughness, good elasticity and good durability under hardening and heating conditions.
Available size :
SCM 440 : 13-355mm
SCM 415 / AISI 4115 Material Properties
AISI 4115 (SNCM 415, 15CrMo5) is a low alloy steel with a small amount of chromium and molybdenum added for increased depth of strength/hardness. The last two numbers (15) represent nominal carbon content of 0.15%. Strength/hardness and ductility, as well as most other mechanical properties will vary with thermomechanical history (heat treatment, hot/cold working). Generally carburized for use, surface hardness can be between HRC 56-60 after case hardening. Mostly used as piston, transmission shaft and gear, spindle.

SCM 415 : 25-210mm
SCNM 439 / AISI 4340 / VCN 150 Material Properties
AISI 4340 (SNCM 439, 40CrNiMoA) is a heat treatable low alloy steel containing nickel, chromium and molybdenum. It has the superior properties such as: superior toughness, machinability and wear resistance. It has tensile strength 745 MPa, modulus of elasticity 190GPa, shear modulus 80GPa and yield strength 470 MPa. High toughness and strength in heat treated condition, good ductility and formability in the annealed condition. Average machinable and welding capability. Mainly used in power transmission gears and shafts, aircraft landing gear, and other structural parts.
